The widely acclaimed IMI Chamber Players, fresh from releasing their new CD, performs music written for woodwind quintet from five continents, including Folk Suite No. 4 by William Grant Still, Adagio and Allegro K. 594 by W. A. Mozart, selections from Dances and Rhapsodies for Wind Quintet by Fred Onovwerosuoke, Wind Quintet Op. 30 by Sigfrid Karg-Elert, and Portraits of Josephine by Valerie Coleman. The IMI Chamber Players is an innovative concert and educational outreach program featuring classical and contemporary works by composers of African, Hispanic and Asian-descent, along with standard repertoire.
