Season Finale: Tribute to Great African Composers

Join African Musical Arts for the finale of our 2015-2016 concert season!

Our season finale will consist of two performances of "Tribute to Great African Composers," a five movement work written by Fred Onovwerosuoke commissioned in 2009 by the American Music Center (now New Music USA). The concert will feature guest conductor Marlon Daniel from New York, acclaimed soprano Alison Buchanan, IMI Festival Orchestra & Chorus comprised of University City Symphony & Friends, St. Louis Women HOPE Chorale, St. Louis Children’s Choirs, Legend Singers, Songs of Africa Ensemble and the Voices of Trinity from Chicago.

VENUE: Saturday, April 16, 2016, 7:30PM at the 560 Music Center and Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3:00PM at the nearby Trinity Presbyterian Church. Tickets range from $15-$50. Discounts available for students and seniors  at the door.  To purchase tickets online click the button below.
